Lots of schools use that damned program. We had it at my HS last year, but luckily I'm out of there now :D

Just set up an SSH server on a home machine running on port 21 (in case they blocked 22), install an HTTP proxy at home, use Putty (or likewise) at work/school to set up a port-forwarding to the proxy, and setup your browser to use the mapped port on 127.0.0.1 as a proxy.

We used TOR and Privoxy to get past ours. Also, one school I went to didn't have a commercial blocker so a lot of sites were missed as it was.

I would say if an employee was being productive and there wasn't anything illegal going on, I don't much care what s/he does on work time. Just get the work done.

Oh also we cant access google images, or yahoo images, oh also windows live search, and yahoo's main page is f*cked up, and youtube's blocked, lets see what else, oh right any email is blocked, file upload sites are blocked. Pretty much any site of any interest whatsoever is blocked. Oh and whenever they can, message boards are blocked. If a particular site gets too much traffic, they look into it and probably block it. The only entertaining thing not blocked is Uncyclopedia.

Ugh, I hate Bess. The Oklahoma City Metro Library System used to use (maybe still does) it on their web computers at all their branches. It would block sites like WWE.com, MTV.com, and even EBAY.com. F*CK BESS!!!!
