When I saw that, I was thinking of the Breencasts in Half-Life 2. But I can see the message you are trying to get through to the viewer. It's true that some Christianity sects have these infomercials to buy prayers and get healed or whatever. The people who buy these stuff obviously are either really devoted, or really dumb.

2007-10-03 14:39:13

no way... its just related to the film.. i dont know why exactly did they put a jesus pic there, but hell knows.. if i would change it to something else, it wouldnt be as good to viewers who have seen the movie

THX 1138 sounds like either a 2 hour less biting version of one scene in Roger Dodger or some George Lucas production that only saw the light of day because his other stereotype burdened movies got popular. Or, maybe both.

Also Fight Club sh*ts on George Lucas and makes him eat it for breakfast.

Ok. Everybody hate on consumerism. But communism didn't really work out now did it? The funny thing is you take for granted all the benefits you reap from a capitalist economic systems. (your grubby hands typing on a keyboard on a computer is evidence) Sure it has problems, but show me a perfect world.

If it brings you peace to go the way of consumerism, you may take that path and fulfill materialistic desires until you no longer wish to do so. Then you may take whatever other path or continue on the path you are on. Walk the paths which you know in your heart to be the most sensible and you will find contentment.
