This site isn't about ytmnd, it's about Hooktmnd, which is totally different, even though he was too lazy to make a hooktmnd watermark, but since this site is NOT about ytmnd then I think it's worth a 5 simply on the basis of being not about ytmnd because that's really the only standard I really have.

I've come to the conclusion that BTape just doesn't like any YTMND that becomes highly rated. Seriously though -- one star? One? You don't think anything in this YTMND is even just a little funny? That little jig that Smee does during the "Hook!" chant? That doesn't do it for you? The implication of the one-star rating seems to be that this YTMND has no redeeming qualities whatsoever; it receives the lowest rating that it is possible for you to give. I'm just trying to figure out the rationale here.

It doesn't take very much effort or talent (or thought and creativity for that matter) To get a 4.2+ score anymore.

I'd have to disagree entirely. Check out this site that was made about the time you joined (early '06). www.obiwonka.ytmnd.com This got over a 4.1 and took almost no effort, talent, thought or creativity compared to mine and other sites made these days. After seeing this I searched for more sites made back in the "good old days" as you would probably call them and many many of them, if produced today, would get below a 4.0

There have always been bad sites. But, that's gotten a hell of a lot worse since users like you just rip scene after scene from a single DVD over and over again, insert a fad, meme, site reference, etc... and watch the 5's roll in since the community here has turned to sh*t over the years. It's just the same formula, laid out over and over again for the millionth time, and to me it's boring.

Fair enough. I understand where you're comgin from cuz I've heard it from several people now. I'll definitely try to incorporate more variety into future ytmnds. I have tried different things in the past, such as my days of the week sites, but they just get downvoted so it's hard to motivate myself to put effort into them. I guess I'll have to work on being more original for my own satisfaction rather than seeking the praise of others. :)
