what you say about not showing the score on recently created - I used to think that. Not so mucb anymore. Better idea I think would be to list the names by the site title (like the featured box). That way maybe more people would check the Recently box. As is now there's about 1 in 3 chance it'll be an ear rape site - so I think a lot of people don't bother with that box. Better if you saw who made it. You could take away so much of the FPAs troll factor that way. And it would be incentive to make good sites

Haha. I know, I was wondering if that would confuse you. From my expirence I found that if I made what I thought was a borderline good site and 60 viewed it on RC yet didn't vote it usually meant it wasn't as good as I thought. People don't vote on all the RC they look at because their vote avg would be 1.5. But if it's good they will usually vote. Names on RC would have the same effect Maxy was trying for with featured users without the 'chosen people' vibe

I don't think having a 1 star by your name on RC kills you in the way you describe because a site will get views after that but if it stinks they don't bother voting (would have been a more direct answer to your question)
