Glad this was serious. I liked him for his no holds barred interviews of the people who wanted to be in charge of this nation. Hard to find people like that anymore.

If you die, Ill make a respectable YTMND about you. Seriously though, I was thinking the same thing earlier when I heard about this, but you know, when you are a public figure known throughout a country or even the world, your death will have a different impact than a regular joe blow who lives in Brooklyn or wherever.

People wouldn't be sad when you die because you're a nobody. Russert was a 2-time bestselling author and a respected journalist. He inspires people. That is why major news networks are headlining his death. You're just some f*ggot on the internet. After you die you're going to get an obituary in your local newspaper and your mom is going to cry, but that's about it. Stop projecting yourself on a man who is much greater than you.

It's crazy to think that at the age of 58 you can die so suddenly. When I am 58, I'm going to be rich, getting laid every night by women much younger than me, and drunk-- It's what Tim Russert would have wanted.

I liked watching Brokaw earlier talking about their "working-class" backgrounds, as if that means they're in touch. They all left their working-class roots behind decades ago. That aside, RIP buddy!

"If you look at these numbers--look at that--these are people who are angry with George W. Bush, and you combine angry with dissatisfied and it reaches 80 and 90 percent. Then I looked at Ohio, and 24% of the voters in Ohio, Lester, were independent voters--crossovers, they're not Democrats, they're independents--and 78% of THEM said they were angry and disappointed. As goes Ohio, I believe, as goes the nation and the presidency. In 2000, I said Florida Florida Florida; I think 2004 is Ohio, Ohio, Ohio."

Yep. Did an interview with a couple of writers for the Sunday show, and shortly afterwards...keeled over dead from a heart attack. Live like you'll die tomorrow. That's a secret to greatness.

at least you are well informed about politics

2008-06-15 18:30:51

Nah, I hate politics. I just think one fat guy dying isn't as devastating as the hundreds of thousands dying in china or in some war, but that's just my common sense talking. I'll shut it up now.
