WOW. I got one of those as a gift a long time ago. I only used it for about a day, because I got sick of yelling FIRE and feeling the same way that guy looks. It still sits way up on a shelf somewhere, enjoying a dust-gathering contest with R.O.B. and the SNES Super Scope. 5 & fav for this accurately-portrayed memory

The main reason the sightscope failed was that the zapper's action was smoother & firerate faster since its trigger spring reset time was mostly proportional to your finger's speed - as opposed to the long deadtimes the SightScope's circuitry used to debounce/discriminate voice inputs.

I used it on Konami's Laser Invasion that promoted this thing. The thing is you could use the control pad to "FIYAH" so I didn't use the mic. But my god, even as just headphones, it was awful after a few minutes because it gripped like a vise :( .
