The West's whole argument in this thing is "It's bad to attack Georgia because THEY'RE DEMOCRATICALLY ELECTED!" while ignoring the fact they signed a ceasefire just to launch a disproportionately heavy surprise attack on a mostly civilian population, in a manner much more scheming and disproportionate than the Russian forces in Georgia. If Iran became a democratic nation and proceeded to nuke its neighbors, does that mean the US would have no right to intervene?

I still don't get why the hell the U.S. supports countries like Pakistan and Israel. All Pakistan does is allow for tribes to get out of hand by not doing anything for awhile and then after a couple of months (like with the mosque incident) they have to fight 4000 people instead of 20. They then turn to Bush and say "look at how difficult things are here so GIMME!" Then we have nuclear technology which both Israel and Pakistan have from the U.S. and yet they sell it to countries like North Korea and Iran!

I think Putin just wants his shirt back.
