Actually, the intentional (and inconsistent) misspelling actually does contribute to the funniness of the site in a very observable way. Much in the way that, if you say any word enough times, it will start sounding stupid... this site undermines Michael Phelps by reiterating and misspelling his name many times in close succession. So, a great athlete is shamed by a completely nonsensical representation of him as a doofus restaurant owner. Really brilliant stuff.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it looks like you made those images in adobe flash, then took screenshots and pasted them into a seperate GIF program. If so, you're making it harder than it needs to be. You can use Flash to make the GIF for you (just keep it at 12 FPS). That also makes it alot easier to sync up with the audio, since you can also import the MP3/WAV onto another layer.
