I merely had the same idea as you did without ever knowing that you made it before, big surprise there, so I deleted it. Those that saw both sites can decide if it was just a coincidence or not. The point is that you thought enough of yours to make it and post it. So, what was the point in deleting it? And the jab at my creativity in making YTMNDs compared to yours was unnecessary. You are far better at it than I’ll ever be ……….except for this one occasion of course.

99% of all YTMNDs, including ones in the Hall of Fame, are just an image from one place put to sound from another place. Whether you get the clips from a DVD, the Internet, or YTMND is inconsequential- it's how you combine them that makes a site good or bad.

Those sites are based around original ideas. Whats the idea on this one? To me, it seems like this is just two things added together. Don't get me wrong, I think you put them together quite well, it just doesn't appeal to me. In fact, the whole "safety not guaranteed' fad doesn't appeal to me that much. After all, the original site IIRC was just an image you could find on google that was posted here.

That's the kind of attitude that discourages people from putting effort into this site- as soon as something is praised by the majority of people, it gets downvoted by those who have appointed themselves "official judges of what's good". Rating manipulation is wrong. Vote honestly on how well you like the site, and the rest works itself out.

Works itself out is not this site being rated higher than many more deserving sites, including oh say, all of ROY4L's sites. That's what really discourages people from putting effort into this site. However, I reconsidered, and you do have the support of the original creators. I'm not gonna fight their battles if they aren't going to.
