Stephanie is not in these ytmnds because she is "hot," she is there because LT is a meme. Do you see people making ytmnds based on movies or tv shows, and shooping some actress or singer into the scene just because that person is "hot"? No. There is no reason to do that, and nobody does that - including people who make LT ytmnds. What people shoop in are memes - and like it or not, LT is a popular meme on ytmnd, and has been for years. And yes, it is funny.

How is it any different? There's nothing particularly funny about McCain giving a speech, but you recontextualize it with Michael Richards thrown in and it becomes funny. Same with Lazytown. Not funny, but this site recontextualized it and made it mildly amusing.
