I was going to point out a couple missing commas but I kinda like the way it looked without them. Outside of a long sentence commas are rarely necessary.

That they don't exist is a "rule" only if it's true. They're rare, but there's NASCAR female drivers running in national races to the modern day. About as many as there are non-white drivers. It's definitely a white-male dominated sport- but it's not closed to others. Speed Racer is a mockery of about sixty zillion 50's era racing comics, where the bad guys (in crappier cars than the hero, of course) would do anything to win, including making the hero "disappear" permamently or sabotaging their vehicles.
