Steakman's site was hilarious. This site doesn't even arouse a smile. This site has no artistic merit. It's just another fad conglomerate with minimal creativity. The fact that it is "high effort" just makes it look more pathetic in that the "artist" wasted time in a futile pursuit of something conceptually vapid. This is a truly horrible site. I also don't remember complaining about a lack of quality sites here... just about voting. People seem to love hard labor, hate art, and yet can't distinguish the 2.

How is using an overused, well propagated gif with an amplified keaton remix funny at all? It has less artistic merit simply on the grounds that it is a thinly veiled attempt at a bitter response to certain web activity. There is in inherent merit in quality, and while a good edit does not necessarily make a good site, it sure helps. Also, this is almost satire. Conceptually vapid? I think you just described steakman's reactionary mock sites. (Yes, he's made that same site before).
