Actually, the file was called canyon.mid. Windows 3.1 was a GUI for DOS 6 which accepted only three-character file extensions. AND there was nothing hidden about it. It resided as a file with standard attributes in C:Windows.......................

I remember when my dad brought a computer into the family room one day. We didn't have a desk for it so we used to sit on the floor when we used the computer...This was before the times of Internet Explorer. Going on the internet meant using something called comet, which was entirely texted based. I vaguely remember there being a fan site for porkchop and Clinton's cat.
