I am going to try something new today. This is a blog style ytmnd comment: Isn't Sean Young wonderful? I have three posters of her in my condo: one blade runner print, and two Tyler Stout art screen prints. I have not been active on YTMND much because of lots of consulting work, my work laptop doesn't have cs3, and most of all some nonsense with finishing up my PhD.

Also I want to update you on the ytmnd party video for convergence. I have been trying to get this out of the door for a long time. I used this sweet "Korg Kaptivator" video sampler to capture the live feed of making the animations live in my vj setup, but it turns out the compression on it was a little too high for my taste. Also i had to give it back to the nice VJ that lent it to mee. I would have just screen capped the output of resolume, but it was too choppy. So i am redoing it with AE/cs3.

In my opinion, ytmnd is in it core essence a user created mashup art site. I was wondering how the ytmnd community feels about the quality of mashup art found on YTMND. What is your favorite?

Wow I didn't remember there being that much of a close up of her in Blade Runner. Also from GaryGnu's comment about her playing Chani in Dune I'm flipping my sh*t. She has to be the most obscure but hottest 80s Sci Fi actress ever. Learn something new everyday...
