I tried opening it with WordPad and all I got was gibberish. Do I need to change the file extension?

Re-downloaded, it's there now. Man, this is really cool. I've never seen anyone do this with a site before. I think I might try this out.

Of course there are many more advanced ways to do this. There are tools to help out. It is even possible to embed a gif inside of another gif.

it's been done before, only using HexEdit

This was a missed opportunity to put Also C*cks in the end.

its giberish at first, but scroll down, win!

Lol. When will people realize you can just type anything in the bottom? :P

Wow, I tried that and it works too!

Okay but does this help me make more nice edits in smaller file? Because if it doesn't do that it is worthless to me.

Well, considering that gif is actually a very inefficient compression scheme. It would be possible to append a h.264 encoded video at the end of a gif. If you figure out how to attach and separate a video in a simple way, post the instructions!

Holy sh*t. Too bad I am not a tech wiz with any coding experience. I might try something though.

I dunno, I memorized a modest number of digits a while ago (only 75, but the last 20 in one day) just by rote. Rote could probably get you to 2000 more reliably than any other method.

Digital Steganography is the art and science of embedding a file inside of another file. Although there are countless Steganography tools, UNIX users can employ the use of the cat command follows: cat original.gif hidden.txt > bundle.gif This hidden message will survive a trip to and from the YTMND image server! See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steganography for more information on more advanced techniques of steganography.
