The game is ridiculously hard since you have to avoid note monsters that spawn at the speed of John's scatting. If you lose, he says "as a matter of fact don't let nothing hold you back if the scatman can do it brother so can you." Which inspires to you try again even though you know you're just going to die again. After 12 hours of playing I was fortunate enough for a rogue lightning strike to take out the power for a moment, and in that moment I escapes with my life.
