It's possible to go up the stairs without gameshark. Download the video of the person who beat Mario 64 in 20 minutes ((Yes, 20 minutes.)) He exploits so many glitches in the game in insane.

I didn't hack, or didn't use a gameshark to get there. I used the glitch system. Besides, I only had two saved files. One with 120 stars, and the other with 16 stars. ;)

if you do backwards long jumps you can skip the staircase if you go into rapid jump. I've done it myself

Yea. We all know about the long jump backwards glitch now. That's how I got passed the first set of stairs that lead to the clock room. ;)

Yea. I tried to make a smooth animation at this same resolution, but it WOULD have run slowly. So I had to remove some frames of the animation. :P

I found a glitch once on how to get into the null zone on mario 64.(the place with almost no programming) I was stupid enough to enter , bowser laughed , and the game crashed. I wonder... was that laugh on purpose ? Did they purposely make it like that !?
