On on the site ?Here comes the dog!

There are serious allegations that this movie actually had animals killed during the production. The American Humane Society reported that as many as 27 cats were killed during production, and probably a significant number of dogs too. They did not find this out until much later because the movie was made in Japan, a nation known for a terrible animal rights stance. Look it up.

It's a rough job, but somebody's gotta do it.

There is a movie called Safety Not Guaranteed coming out, and it was picked up for distribution at Sundance. By the accounts of the early viewings, it should do well. However, I want to share with you the truth. I feel sorry in a way for having to post this, because I kinda want to believe that there is some crazy mullet-headed time traveler out there waiting to take people to the past. But maybe since there's a movie coming out, it's probably best to close this chapter anyway. I give you, the real limit-pusher, writer John Silveira.
