Actually this kind of siren is electo-mechanical, it spins a rotor which is like a fan, with it's blades veritical, the air is pushed throught slots called the chopper, the sound is produced as an airstream being "chopped" same sound as a leaf blower, works the same way! This siren does not produce sound via speaker or driver, who is PWNING NOW!
LOL! Yeah we started this thing with my firends where we go and find the nearest siren when a tornado warning is issued! We also film the tests, lol it's pointless I know!
