So you place all atheists together to get some absurd number of murders yet you don't place all of religion together.
I think the tragedy that atheists point out is that ignorant people murder in the name of religion.
Here's an idea, quit giving a f*ck what other people believe and stop shoving it down their throats. That way we all can live in peace and none has to be persecuted over it. Then if your right you'll have a lot more heaven to yourself. BTW I'm not even atheist and I see this.
Spend your whole life being afraid of what you are not sure exists. If there is a god I am sure that being a good person while in the flesh is enough to earn a peaceful resting place and if it is not enough then who wants to be a part of it anyway. I have a better idea, concentrate on your life at hand, be a good person and take care of your loved ones, make your life now a living heaven.
Then if you are right the afterlife will just be icing on the cake.
so I'd suggest you free yourself from their mind control and come to your own decisions on what or who "God" is. Do ever find yourself questioning certain aspects of what they tell you? You make a valid point about the possibility of an intelligent designer. Many great minds from Einstein to Leonardo have stated this. Your mistake is in trying to associate religion with spirituality. Religion has for centuries entrapped mankind and pinned us against each other.
