I still have the monitor from this thing. I used it as a TV (with a VCR for the tuner) for years. The computer is long since dead though. :( I can still remember going to the store to buy games, back when they still sold BETA videocassettes.
I started playing WoW over a month ago. Mostly as research since I'm in the process of developing my own web-based MMO. I play a few hours a day, some days not at all, and the only time it really cuts into is time I likely would have spent staring at the TV like a Borg drone. At least when I'm on WoW I'm actually socializing with real people and having fun. I'd say television is a much more widespead addiction that gets no attention at all, because the ones that would condemn it are PROFITING from it.
One of the patterns I see around here is people that actually have a decent system, but they don't take the time to pin down all the rattles in their car, like the license plate frame, and so outside it sounds like s***.
Nes: It's making fun of ricers, not import cars. Ricers are people that think they're 100hp grocery getter is fast because they put a giant, draggy spoiler on it and clear turn signal lenses.
Good stuff here. I exported all the voice clips from Fate of Atlantis and used to prank call people with em. This was LONG before the whole soundboard thing!
