My YTMND's aren't meant to satisfy viewers. In fact, most of them are made so that I can get them out of my head and in an environment where they belong. Whether viewers understand or like them isn't the point. For me, I understand very well my ideas. For others, I hope they at least view it and respond.
This one just happened to be made soon after Inception started in theaters. And it just so happened that I had the idea. Simple as that.
Yeah, I made the billmurrayinception YTMND. I didn't really care about the quality and no my idea is not the same as yours, but its similar in the sense that we both used Groundhog for our footage. I was more interested in being the first one to produce a YTMND that mixed Groundhogs Day and Inception.
If I had all the footage I wanted, I assure you it would've been better. Since I made the YTMND about 1 week after the movie came out, my options were limited.
I do like your idea. I totally forgot about that scene in Groundhogs Day.
