Bombshell Harley Quinn is a version of Harley Quinn from an alternate universe. Attending Charm School in the United States of America, Harleen Quinzel rebelled against the decorum and restraint expected of women of the era. Found unappealing for being a "brassy, mouthy broad with a sense of humour" Harleen found partnership with a gangster she affectionately called "Mistah J". Together the duo "robbed from the rich and gave to whoever" but "Mistah J" quickly became more and more dark as their thefts continued and he became interested in the occult. Seeking out the "Belle of the Bog" (Barbara Gourdon) in the bayou of Louisiana Harleen left her love when she decided that she didn't wish to become a monster. Becoming a talented doctor specializing in psychology, Harleen practised at the Arkham Ward; Sanitarium for the Criminally Insane, in London due to being kept from working in more auspicious hospitals due to her gender and her past involvement with crime. On December, 1940, Harleen was tending to Shondra Kinsolving; one of her patients who was once a doctor and colleague of Harleen's who worked at the Ward, during one of the city's wartime blackouts on christmas. Suffering from nightmares, Shondra revealed to Harleen that she was dreaming of London being overrun by humanoid, shadow monsters, and a long-toothed, laughing man whispering a message for Harley to "Come find him". Hearing this message makes Harleen have a mental breakdown and arise with her face transformed in clown makeup and exhibiting enhanced agility. Leaving the hospital, Harleen crashes a christmas dance party where she causes grief amongst the English soldiers when she steals the women in the party for herself to dance with. Observing as her attempts lead to a bar fight, Aviation Officer Hal Jordan introduces himself to Harleen and is quickly seduced by the female doctor as she has him lead her to his plane in Whitemore airfield whereupon she steals his key, knocks him out and hijacks his plane to fly to Berlin where she believed her "beau" to be. Three miles from Calais over the English Channel, Harleen's plane is shot down by German infantry and she crash lands in the greenhouse of Pamela Ysley; a smuggler who worked for Selina Digatti until the Germans seized her hometown of Calais three months earlier. As part of a plan of vengeance, Pamela sold her luxurious items to the occupying Nazis forces and then one night brewed a perfume so sweet that it made the Nazis drowsy and gave Pamela her chance to kill them. But an unexpected side effect to the perfume turned Pamela's skin green. As she was in the process of vacating the house after learning of France's surrender to Germany, Harleen convinces Pamela to leave with her to Berlin; killing Nazi soldiers as they drove through occupied towns. Reaching Berlin a few days after the Battle of Britain and Nazi Germany's attempted use of Tenebrae undead to bolster their army, Harleen and Pamela break into the "Cabaret of the Joker's Daughter" only to discover that the Joker's Daughter had lured Harleen there posing as "Mistah J". Revealing that she intended to bring her master back by having him possess Pamela's body, Harleen cuts off the Joker's Daughter's hand and escapes with Pamela to "The Cat's Cradle"; a smugglers den used by Pamela and Selina Digatti to store their smuggled goods 20-25 meters below Berlin. While growing an underground garden to provide food beneath the city, the duo run into Raven, Zatanna Zatara and John Constantine; who were also fleeing from the Joker's Daughter, and soon afterward, Kate Kane, Renee Montoya and Selina Degatti; who were preparing to use the tunnels in a mission to smuggle Jews out of a Berlin Ghetto.

Marvel's Avengers is a 2020 action-adventure game developed by Crystal Dynamics and originally published by Square Enix. He was an American politician who served as the 40th governor of Louisiana from 1928 to 1932 and as a United States senator from 1932 until his assassination in 1935. He was a left-wing populist member of the Democratic Party and rose to national prominence during the Great Depression for his vocal criticism of President Franklin D. Roosevelt and his New Deal, which Long deemed insufficiently radical. As the political leader of Louisiana, he commanded wide networks of supporters and often took forceful action. A controversial figure, Long is celebrated as a populist champion of the poor or, conversely, denounced as a fascist demagogue. Long was born in the impoverished north of Louisiana in 1893. After working as a traveling salesman and briefly attending three colleges, he was admitted to the bar in Louisiana. As Commissioner, he prosecuted large corporations such as Standard Oil, a lifelong target of his rhetorical attacks. Once in office, he expanded social programs, organized massive public works projects, such as a modern highway system and the tallest capitol building in the nation, and proposed a cotton holiday. Through political maneuvering, Long became the political boss of Louisiana. He was impeached in 1929 for abuses of power, but the proceedings collapsed in the State Senate. His opponents argued his policies and methods were unconstitutional and authoritarian. At its climax, Long's political opposition organized a minor insurrection in 1935. Long was elected to the U.S. Senate in 1930 but did not assume his seat until 1932. He established himself as an isolationist, arguing that Standard Oil and Wall Street orchestrated American foreign policy. He was instrumental in securing Roosevelt's 1932 nomination but split with him in 1933, becoming a prominent critic of his New Deal. As an alternative, he proposed the Share Our Wealth plan in 1934. To stimulate the economy, he advocated massive federal spending, a wealth tax, and wealth redistribution. These proposals drew widespread support, with millions joining local Share Our Wealth clubs. Poised for a 1936 presidential bid, Long was assassinated by Carl Weiss inside the Louisiana State Capitol in 1935. His assassin was immediately shot and killed by Long's bodyguards. Although Long's movement faded, Roosevelt adopted many of his proposals in the Second New Deal, and Louisiana politics would be organized along anti- or pro-Long factions until the 1960s. He left behind a political dynasty that included his wife, Senator Rose McConnell Long; his son, Senator Russell B. Long; and his brother, Governor Earl Long, among others. Share Our Wealth was a movement that began in February 1934, during the Great Depression, by Huey Long, a governor and later United States Senator from Louisiana. "Every Man a King" is a song cowritten by Louisiana's Governor and United States Senator Huey Long and Castro Carazo. Long was known for his political slogan "Every man a king," which is also the title of his 1933 autobiography and the catch-phrase of his Share Our Wealth proposal during the Great Depression.

Olivia Nuzzi, the political journalist who allegedly developed a "personal relationship" with Robert F. Kennedy Jr. on the campaign trail, has left New York magazine amid the fallout from their scandal. On Oct. 21, New York revealed in a statement that Nuzzi, 31, is no longer employed by the outlet, one month after she was placed on leave following allegations that she grew close to Kennedy while covering his independent presidential campaign. The statement said that New York and Nuzzi agreed to "part ways" despite a third-party review concluding that she did not show signs of bias in her reporting. "Last month, the magazine enlisted the law firm Davis Wright Tremaine to review Olivia Nuzzi’s work during the 2024 campaign," the magazine's statement reads. "They reached the same conclusion as the magazine’s initial internal review of her published work, finding no inaccuracies nor evidence of bias." The statement continued: "Nevertheless, the magazine and Nuzzi agreed that the best course forward is to part ways.
