King's Shield is a must on all sets to allow Aegislash to capitalize on both its offensive and defensive stats. The move also allows Aegislash to halve an opponent's Attack when it is hit by a contact move. Shadow Ball and Flash Cannon are this set's main attacking moves. Shadow Sneak allows Aegislash to finish off faster weakened opponents, though the move is risky as it changes Aegislash into Blade forme at the start of the turn. Aegislash can run Sacred Sword instead, allowing it to attain perfect coverage in tandem with its Ghost-type moves.
fg image origin:
Slurpuff and Granbull, especially the Belly Drum variant of the former, benefit from having Steel-type Pokemon out of the way. Feraligatr benefits from Ferroseed, its premier counter, being trapped and taken out. As Probopass doesn't run Stealth Rock on this set, a good entry hazard setter such as Accelgor or Crustle is suggested, along with a spinblocker such as Gourgeist-S and Mismagius. Pokemon to handle Fighting- and Ground-types, such as Vileplume and Gourgeist-S, are also appreciated.
sound origin:
This set's spread maximizes Attack and Speed so that Liepard can hit as hard and fast as possible. As Liepard isn't going to be surviving many hits, Black Glasses is used to give a boost to Liepard's STAB moves. The boost in power is what makes Liepard's Knock Off capable of OHKOing and 2HKOing Pokemon such as Meloetta and Doublade. While an Adamant nature might seem tempting, as Liepard has priority on Encore as-is and might also be using Sucker Punch, the boost in power is simply not worth being outsped by dangerous threats such as Mismagius and Calm Mind Delphox.

description:
demosceneThe demoscene is a computer art subculture that specializes in producing demos, which are audio-visual presentations that run in real-time on a computer. The main goal of a demo is to show off programming, artistic, and musical skills.
The demoscene first appeared during the 8-bit era on computers such as the Commodore 64, ZX Spectrum, Atari 800 and Amstrad CPC, and came to prominence during the rise of the 16/32-bit home computers (mainly the Amiga and Atari ST). The first of the demoscene demos had a strong connection with software cracking, as competition grew rapidly and groups wanted better presentation of their releases.[1] When a cracked program was started, the cracker or his team would take credit with a graphical introduction called a "crack intro" (shortened cracktro). Within a year or two,[2] the making of intros and standalone demos evolved into a new subculture independent of the software (piracy) scene.[3]

Concept[edit]
Screen shot from Second Reality, a famous[4] demo by Future Crew.
Prior to the popularity of IBM PC compatibles, most home computers of a given line had relatively little variance in their basic hardware, which made their capabilities practically identical. Therefore, the variations among demos created for one computer line were attributed to programming alone, rather than one computer having better hardware. This created a competitive environment in which demoscene groups would try to outperform each other in creating outstanding effects, and often to demonstrate why they felt one machine was better than another (for example Commodore 64 or Amiga versus Atari 800 or ST).
Demo writers went to great lengths to get every last bit of performance out of their target machine. Where games and application writers were concerned with the stability and functionality of their software, the demo writer was typically interested in how many CPU cycles a routine would consume and, more generally, how best to squeeze great activity onto the screen. Writers went so far as to exploit known hardware errors to produce effects that the manufacturer of the computer had not intended. The perception that the demo scene was going to extremes and charting new territory added to its draw.
Recent computer hardware advancements include faster processors, more memory, faster video graphics processors, and hardware 3D acceleration. With many of the past's challenges removed, the focus in making demos has moved from squeezing as much out of the computer as possible to making stylish, beautiful, well-designed real time artwork – a directional shift that many "old school demosceners" seem to disapprove of. This can be explained by the break introduced by the PC world, where the platform varies and most of the programming work that used to be hand-programmed is now done by the graphics card. This gives demo-groups a lot more artistic freedom, but can frustrate some of the old-schoolers for lack of a programming challenge. The old tradition still lives on, though. Hidden Power Rock is superior to Rock Slide on this set as it does more damage; Regirock is too slow to take advantage of the latter's flinch chance. In fact, the only notable Pokemon it outspeeds is Snorlax, who is hit harder by Superpower. The only reason to use Rock Slide would be to run Hidden Power Bug, which OHKOes Celebi, surprises other Grass-types, and does decent damage to Claydol. However, it is mostly inferior to the other moves.
fg image origin:
Walrein can Curse decently if you are into that stuff. You will want to hit Electrics on the switch or you will be in trouble later on. Ice Beam hits Solrock and Misdreavus for decent damage and with STAB absolutely trashes Altaria. Offensively, Ground and Ice are a very powerful combination. Electabuzz and Manectric are your two biggest enemies here, so you have to try and catch them on the switch with Earthquake. You might not want to give away Curse and Earthquake at first, to lull the Electrics into a false sense of security, and then BAM! Earthquake KO.
sound origin:
This thing never dies. Hidden Power Grass is used for other Waters, primarily Quagsire, but Toxic stops the ever common Hypno and Grumpig switches. Ice Beam has STAB and is a generally great attacking type. The defense allows it to switch into even Choice Band Gligar Earthquakes and Rock Slides, and then scare it off with STAB Ice Beam. Surf is another option in the last slot, as it also gets STAB and hits stuff like Aggron.

This set is the perfect combination of defensive and offensive presence, making it a perfect Pokemon for balanced teams. Rotom-W has access to STAB Volt Switch, which allows it to assume the role of a defensive pivot against Pokemon like Mega Pinsir, Talonflame, and Azumarill. This means that even if the opponent has a Latias, Mega Venusaur, or another counter in the wings, Rotom-W can simply Volt Switch into another Pokemon that has a better match-up against said counter. Hydro Pump is useful for hitting the Ground-types that Rotom-W can usually switch into with ease, namely Hippowdon and Landorus-T. Neither of these Pokemon can take a Hydro Pump well, nor will they appreciate a burn courtesy of Will-O-Wisp. The threat of Will-O-Wisp can also force certain physical attackers to switch. This includes Bisharp, Garchomp, Azumarill, and many others.
sound origin:
The last move is dedicated to healing Rotom-W as best as it can. Pain Split is useful because it allows Rotom-W to also run Leftovers, gradually recovering its HP throughout the match. It also damages the opponent if they switch in something like Chansey or Mega Venusaur and Rotom-W is at mid or low health. However, Rest has its merits as well. If Rotom-W gets hit with a status move, Rest is useful for healing it. Rest also completely heals Rotom-W, while Pain Split is dependent on the opponent's health. However, Rest is unreliable, as it can only be used once with a Chesto Berry without putting Rotom-W to sleep. Thunder Wave can be used over Will-O-Wisp, but it is usually an inferior option, as common switch-ins to Rotom-W, such as Latias, Quagsire, Chansey, and Mega Venusaur, dislike burns more than paralysis.

This set makes use of Genesect's BoltBeam coverage to hit almost everything for at least neutral damage and many Pokemon super effectively. U-turn is great for scouting the opponent's team and is an option for when Genesect gets an Attack boost from Download. It also hits common Pokemon such as Tyranitar in sandstorm for more damage than Bug Buzz, which is still a viable alternative if you want a special STAB that is unaffected by Intimidate.
sound origin:
Blizzard is viable, especially in hail, as it really packs a punch and can deal major damage. A Focus Sash can secure a few surprise KOs, but Expert Belt and Life Orb are generally better. Expert Belt is the preferred choice for most teams as it helps Genesect get a number of significant KOs with no drawbacks. Genesect can also use a Life Orb to increase its damage output, but it means that Genesect is worn down much faster.
