I just saw this on engadget.com and came here to make this. Smokescreen is basically an HTML5 converter for simple Adobe Flash animations with sound. Most think that it's only useful for translating banner ads, but applying it to YTMND was the first thing that came to mind for me. Integrate it into the site or make an iPhone OS app, I don't care, just give me a way to view YTMND on my iDevice!

Using its fins to walk, rather than swim, along the ocean floor in an undated picture, the pink handfish is one of nine newly named species described in a recent scientific review of the handfish family. Only four specimens of the elusive four-inch (ten-centimeter) pink handfish have ever been found, and all of those were collected from areas around the city of Hobart (map), on the Australian island of Tasmania. Though no one has spotted a living pink handfish since 1999, it's taken till now for scientists to formally identify it as a unique species. The new-species determinations were made based on a number of factors, including number of vertebrae and fin rays, coloration, the presence of scales and spines, and proportional body measurements, according to review author Daniel Gledhill of Australia's Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation, or CSIRO. All of the world's 14 known species of handfish are found only in shallow, coastal waters off southeastern Australia, the review notes. Even among the previously known species, the fish are poorly studied, the review authors add, and little is known about their biology or behavior.

So, I was cleaning out my room when I came across this old book that provided instructions on how to make paper airplanes, along with some illustrations of characters to go along with the planes. I was flipping through the book, and having a laugh at how cheesy the characters were, when the similarities struck me. Note that the book (named "Paper Airplane Power") was copyrighted in the same year that StarFox was released. I honestly don't know who stole from who, but it's ridiculous enough to be on ytmnd.

This was before I added a 10 to my name. Story short, annoying ass kid always tried to hang out with me and my much L337er pals in 9th grade, so I drew comics about him and everyone laughed. This was just the presentation. I also had a 7-page paper with more stuff (I wanted to have even more, but had to cut some stuff because I ran out of time and it would have been longer than 5-7 pages). The project could be anything related to social media, so there were tons of Facebook projects. Some other notable ones: one on suicide websites, one on MAME, and even one on fanboys, which was hilarious.
