I was looking at various votes by all sort of random people and I noticed a lot of binary voters (I got a ytmnd about that BTW). I guess it's no surprise that the useful feedback tends to come from the 2-4 comments. What I find odd, however, is that while there's some good feedback from the 5s, of all the 1s on all of my sites, hardly any of the comments would be considered useful feedback by anyone. This really bothers me because the 1s are the votes I am most eager to improve.

3rd day in top 15 (2nd in a row), and on www.ptkfgs.com... and not even on a new site! This is incredible; I am overwhelmed by the influx of e-points I have been awarded. There will always be detractors, unfortunately. I try to pay for the bandwidth YTMND gives me by sponsoring my own site, and it gets a 1; Similarly I'm confident that nearly all - if not all - the of the 1s I got for FAV!ing this would be upped had anyone bothered READING my favorites list.

I believe that extensive commentary on a YTMND is like director's commentary on a DVD movie; if you just want the content, fine, don't read the rest. But some people like myself are genuinely interested to read how people work on this stuff, and I only wish more creators would follow suit. If my rating suffers slightly (and there's no evidence that it does), it's a small price to offer the option to my fellow users. This whole site's about showing stuff to other people, after all.

I would delete old milestones as I reached new ones, but incase you didn't notice, I can't. ;-) Since all new commentary necessarily builds on old, there's going to be a lot of errata, and I honestly don't know how to avoid it without risking leaving something unsaid. Whereas within the ytmnd the less said, the better, I feel that outside, the opposite is true. It's interesting to see how many people seem to disagree though; we are united by love of what is *inside*, so *outside* there's a split in opinion.

There are plenty of people who alt-account downvote and 1-star 12000+ sites and downvote just to be cool. The problem is that they waste server space just to be douchebags (same as people who randomly upvote, actually, though there are significantly less) just to be douchebags when they don't objectively or truthfully vote. Also, there are people who one-star all the sites of people they don't like blindly, or because they don't like one of theirs. That's just ridiculous.

Which is why they made omaha the best defended beach of them all. Casualties would've been just as bad or worse if the Brits or Canadians had landed there. So shut the f*ck up, crazy. By the way, the Brits weren't sent because they had already suffered too many casualties trying to defend Europe before we came to their aid. Just accept that the war was one by every allied country and it might not have been without every one.

This is a historic date, an event that should be remembered for eons. I am impossibly grateful for what those men did so people like us could live the free lives we do now. However, there's already like, 5 of these sites, and in my humble opinion, this is not what YTMND is for. I hope you all at least consider my reasoning as you're downvoting my sites.

This is just below the belt. I love Canadians, I've been there, etc. Sorry MasterSitsu I've never had Alexander Keith's. I don't like American beer at all, I have to work at a Nascar race down here in ATL, I hate it -- rednecks and Bud (Dale Jr.) ftl. Also, the South Park movie made fun of America, so referencing this to "Blame Canada" doesn't really work. I also love hockey (I'm a Yankee in the south...) This commerical is just rude.

btw, only one province speaks french, but in order to prevent them from splitting, we had to agree to teach french in the rest of the country, though most of us don't care if we know it cuz we never use it, and eventually forget it. lol. you guys are teaching spanish in school, but deporting all your mexicans. is there any reason to speak spanish in america if there's no latinos? lol
