Right now, two men are hammering a new door on the apartment across from mine, a baby is crying somewhere in an adjacent dwelling, and a yippy little dog is whining and barking in a car in the parking lot outside my window. This actually stopped me from viciously murdering all of them in cold blood. They have you to thank...

That's a good one there. Shows perfectly that a ytmnd doesn't have to be about silly fads (Don't get me wrong, I love them). Either way, it's a very good tribute. If those men hadn't been there, I might be typing in German right now.

I can't believe you guys. I'm ashamed of some of the comments. Those guys gave their lives doing their jobs and preserving our freedom, and if you're not at least grateful for their sacrifice then I don't think you guys deserve your freedom. Without these brave men YTMND may never have been.

I was born on the 45th anniversary of this tragic day.
Though tragic, I can say from the bottom of my heart that WWII is the only war that I can think of that is what I'd call just. And to these British and American men, I thank. And to all involved I'm sorry they had to be there.

The sound sucks? Hard to replicate real gunfire. As close as it will get. The picture? Actual screenshot of d-day, during which our men died. How does it suck? It's not like i took a f*cking coloring book and drew penises on it to make it a fake picture. I made this site with the upmost intent, not a f*ggy short film, to recognize a day which determined how idiots like you would be born

@KalleR The Red army had the most motivated men (no heros, they HATED the Germans) and the best tanks (they didn't brake down all the time like the German's tanks and didn't burst into flames like the American built ones did at the slightest knock). In fact, we all needed everyone to win. However the side that contributed most to the allied victory was the German's. Without their leader going nuts and trying to micromanage EVERYTHING, it would have been a lot harder for as.

Who cares if it's an American image and a sound clip from a video game detailing American's fighting, it symbolizes all of the men who died fighting this day. f*ck off about the communist crap too, "Uncle Joe" had to beg the allies to alleviate stress from the Eastern Front.

Now Patton hated having his men die, yet he was willing to risk it. A pint of blood was better than a gallon of sweet he said... He didn't see much beauty when Eisenhower dragged him to the Concentration Camp. (which most you all 5 star for dead Jews.) He only saw beauty from the victory.

Yet the waste of men he witnessed had to been saddening. However Germans do surrender, unlike the Japanese...and his army captured many Germans. He was a commander who took risk. Even taking his army to the Ardennes to relieve the Americans besieged by the Germans final attempt to extend the war.

Wow! I didn't know Bush lived that long! I don't see an American flag in there, just men risking their lives for the sake of the world.

This is a historic date, an event that should be remembered for eons. I am impossibly grateful for what those men did so people like us could live the free lives we do now. However, there's already like, 5 of these sites, and in my humble opinion, this is not what YTMND is for. I hope you all at least consider my reasoning as you're downvoting my sites.
