Because no celebrities have ever done child shows! Granted, Yo gabba gabba is kind of out there.. Hell, he stared in the first episode! Most other celebs I've read about doing it are reasonably unknown. So I don't know what to think. But plenty of people have done sesame street, and Jon Stewart did Jacks Big Music Show when he had a fine income with The Daily Show. Not everything has to be about money. God forbid celebrities let down their public image to do something for the children!

Usually I take all of the apocalyptic theories at face value because there is always a major one every 10 years. I never understood the fear of them. Most of the scenarios you showed would be on too grand a scale for us to comprehend. If you want to read something that will really blow your mind, read up on "The Big Crunch/Bounce/Rip" Or "Big Freeze/Heat Death". To sum it all up, even if we do manage to colonize different planets, eventually the known Universe will be unable to sustain life everywhere.

I prefer original content too, but I wanted to try one of these for once. I figured it wouldn't be a big deal. I didn't expect something like this to get incredibly high ratings, I just wanted to show people these pictures. I think people take ytmnd too seriously sometimes. One well presented slideshow isn't a sin. But you make it seem as if I have committed a crime. If I had enough room on my description I would cite all my sources but I can't so, I should just delete the site then?

I like the look of the YTMND widget - I know Facebook's big with the kids these days (i know we all pretend to hate it, but half the people here probably have it) so it might be a cool route to run a YTMND facebook app that displays your widget on your profile. Show off your sites to people at your college, find ytmnders that are in your network. All that social networking sh*t max wants to keep off ytmnd itself.
