I can't stand people who complain that they didn't show the monster enough. There were more than enough clear, full shots of it throughout the movie, to the point where it was ridiculous to fathom that the main characters could actually survive as many close encounters as they did. It's an amazing movie if you can suspend your disbeliefs and not complain about trivial bullsh*t, which it appears most people can't.

This is important, because it has to be avoided that the polymorph/fireblast (at 20% mana) and the water elementals (at 40% health) occur close to each other. I did think it was silly saying less 'than any other film ever'. I can think of many films with less close ups, take something like Batpussy, or an Imax movie like Encounters in the 3rd Dimention, no close ups in that. Also Citizen Kane isn't that great a film, it's very good but not 'best film eva', as a film tutor would say
