Let's not artifically inflate the score for that movie. It really isn't that good. Also, how do we know that all those Snakes votes for Max are legit? He got a lot, I'm sure, but how many of them were due to script kiddies running spoofs?

I'm trying to say that this is benign sh*t compared to what he COULD've done. He could've deleted everything but Adverb's (see: "rollback" news story) and State-of-mind's sites. Instead, all he did was inflate a number on HIS database on HIS website. If you don't like it, stop blindly clicking what's on the top 15, and search the Up and Comings or even random.ytmnd.com to surprise yourself a bit. QED. ;)

Oh, god. So much speculation over so little. First of all, he's noted in http://ytmnd.com/info/about that YTMND is about "a site created for the purpose of furthering the __creativity__ of its users" (underscores added). Therefore, he hates these creativity-killing fads. Second, all he would've had to do was add 5000000 to a database value, perhaps via an easy Web form. It's not hard at all, and hardly tough to take them back out by (gasp!) SUBTRACTING 5000000 from the new, inflated count.

okay, 4.77 with 4500 votes is absurd, for any site. two months ago, if i'd suggested such a notion, you'd probably smack me in the face. but i don't think the loss of blind downvoting can be the only cause of such a massive inflation. could someone else please come up with some other possible factors? and those vote to view ratios Sitsu pointed out are notable as well. maybe there's a common source?

Obviously. Because of inflation, money in the future is worth a lot less than it is now. He just gets tons of money from the future and uses it back here when it's worth a lot more. Teknorat and his fancy mullet...

I like to make up statistics too. You use inflated statistics to exaggerate your point. You use the "average" income tax while simultaneously claiming that most illegals live below the poverty limit.

"Harpoon, you are a dipsh*t :| sup inflation" jisf0rjosh, he's sort of right. The US left the Gold standard a long while ago, and now operates on what is known as a faux economy, meaning our money is basically worthless paper. Most paper economies are like this. They could easily hand off hospital building and other things to anyone. And inflation wouldn't be an issue if the one-percenters would spend their funds. ftw.

then why did he put that information in the video? No point! I seriously people are complaining that illegal immigrants are taking their jobs, what job? mowing the lawn? picking strawberries? Take them! The fact is that illegal immigrants are playing as scapegoats. They are not terrorists; they are not causing foreign and domestic problems. If anything they are helping your local farms hire cheap labor which means lower prices = low inflation = better economy.

Ironically, I had to look up the word fustian: "An inflated style of writing or speech; pompous or pretentious language." Ironically indeed. Anyway it's inaccurate as I don't hold any pretensions; I appreciate the diversity of the english language, and if you have a more - how can I put this ironically - colloquial vernacular, I'm not going to judge that I'm somehow superior to you, even in speechcraft; it's just an aesthetic decision, is all.

No one claimed that the rest of the world loved us before, but during this presidency a hatred of the US has emerged, even in countries that are our traditional allies, which surpasses all other times. You can call Buchanan inept, but I dare say that you can call Mr. Bush malicious. Did I mention that he put us into the greatest debt of all time, even when accounting for inflation?

Never mix results from people over 18 and those younger in a penis-size survey. Other surveys that have properly divided the age groups show often that the younger guys seem to like to inflate their numbers or do some fuzzy math rounding etc.
