Don't mean to argue, but both Counter-Strike and Half-Life 2 are better shooters, and both are on the Xbox. Half-Life 2 had an incredibly good single-player that beats Halo's single player offering IMO, but it's fantastic multiplayer wasn't ported over the the Xbox. Counter-Strike's port to the Xbox sold fairly well (Not better than Halo or Halo 2, or course), and I believe anybody who has played both would say Counter-Strike has better multiplayer.

The dual health/shield was what made Halo 1 fun. Halo 2 diminished it, and it sucked. Halo 3 keeps the fragmented remains of uniqueness from the XBox's one Killer App, and slathers it with dried up crap they took from iD and Insomniac.

@ Shadow: Are you kdding? Nintendo isn't innovative at all. They simply took nearly a 15 year old design and refitted it to a modern console. If they were innovative at all, they would have created a new controller type instead of a Power Glove 2 on a Gamecube 2. Lets be clear though, I don't own a PS3 or XBOX 360 I own a Wii and I say this. Think of how many things you own right now that wouldn't be around if not for Sony.

I only liked my Dreamcast because of PSO and novelty games like Quake 3. I wish I tried more games on the old girl. I probably almost logged more hours on PSO than I ever did with my playstation or XBOX. Not more than N64 though I don't think.

I find it kind of strange. Ever since they became Squeenix they've been much more profit focused although they still have been doing some side work. But I mean why don't they just remake things like this. If they remade CT and FF VII with PS3 and/or Xbox 360 graphics they would rake in cash.

Yet another misguided soul sold to Microsoft. Never had online problems. Plays PS2 game BETTER than an actual PS2 (better framerate and quicker load times), the HD has never glitched on me while the 360's glitches every 5 seconds, yes bad customer support, and its less than a 360. Xbox360=$400 + wifi $100 + HD $200. Lets see for the same thing as a PS3 you spend $700. And thats still just scratching the surface, you have to pay for Xbox Live because it would be stupid to own a 360 without Xbox Live.
