chronster, I'll be honest when I say this, I'm not voting lower because of you. I can see how other people would think this is funny, but it's simply baseline humor that piggy-backs off other funny things. Essentially, all you're doing is making fad sites (at least to the extent that you rely on jokes already made by others {see Contact surprise and this one}). Sure, it takes a modicum of technical proficiency in paint to do this (basically amounting to cutting, pasting, and saving), but it's not worth more than 2 when you essentially didn't actually create any part of the image beyond what I first learned how to do in paint. So, if you want me to summarize why I don't like this: 5 stars (assumed)-2 stars(not funny)-2 stars(not that creative {you have that going for you in your other illustrated one})-1 for bad sync. That rounds to a 1 in my book. If you make more (less bitchy) YTMNDs like the one which is probably going to make you a pink user, I'll be voting 5s all the time.

I know there's been talk of rats and snakes in this game, but that just didn't for me. I didn't want to be that. Sometimes I randomly click the ytmnd logo while a site is loading. I dunno why I do it, but I do. Anyway when you cite the punchline like that it really spoils the experience for me. I know you're new so in the future just put "+ edits" or something in the sources and then cite the original site in the description. This site didn't make a lot of sense anyway, lol :P

this is one of those few "I did something in real life" YTMNDs. you can't really compare them to, like, a MasterSitsu site. Just because it didn't have any copy and pasting in a gif editor and didn't take any clips from movies and overload them with fads doesn't make it inferior. Quite the contrary. What we have here is something more along the lines of Color Me YTMND, which might not have involved so much "effort" (child labour, lol) but is nonetheless clever and original, which counts for much more.

I think it's sad that Max considers people who disagree with this new caste system to be "upset they didn't make the cut." Not everyone in here cares about being in some little club on the internet. People care about having equality. The featured user system creates an unequal playing field. Why would any want to create a site when you have to compete with a list of "featured users?" It's like pitching to Barry Bonds, Mark McGuire or Sammy Sosa on steroids. You can't win until the system changes.

Cripes. Images like this one aren't like a paiting you can make a signature on and have it instantly recognizable as yours. You release an image onto the web and it becomes public domain, whether you like it or not. The vast majority of the Hall of Fame has either stolen images or sound or both. Boo hoo, he didn't make the image. Why does that make it any less awesome?

I don't hate this site. My only point is that you guys are taking this way too seriously. What are your concerns? Bandwidth? It's a f*cking website which Max makes money on, why should I delete any of my YTMND's? Just because other people didn't find them funny? Each YTMND is like a piece of art. Sometimes I look back and laugh at my least voted on ones. (99% of mine are sh*tty).
