The XBox hard drive isn't your normal hard drive, not only does it need to be tested throughly for use in games, it has to have a unique file structure. Take into account the fact that Microsoft actually has to make a profit and that the 20 GB HDD is $100 USD - it is a good deal.

lmao I love my xbox... Microsoft sent me 5. The first one lasted 6 months the others lasted days. One lasted i sh*t you not.. 13 minutes... SOOOOOO they sent me one last one with a giant crack in the side and I extended its warrenty because it has a freaking vagina hole on it.. why wouldnt I? Welllll... vagina box hasn't died yet.. its been 3 months. What good that warrenty did :(

Because its 100$ cheaper, better games, more good games, and its faster, with better graphics, and XBox live, plus its got a year warranty, unlike PS3's which 1/8 will be broken on sale day. I do agree that a PC owns any console, for the rest of eternity, even if for the fact that you can play console games on a pc.
