yeah man, there's always been that idealogy with certain cliques, regardless of any sort of recognition by max. now, i feel, people will try harder to get into that little clique, and the people who are in it, will want to stay in it. its almost better this way, really, because one may never know if they're "accepted" but now there's like a title or rank or something, i dunno, it gives certain users a greater purpose than just creating YTMNDs they think their friends will giggle at

Nice ytmnd for sure, and the reason nge went to hell at the end was because the development crew lost most of its funding because higher ups for the station they showed it on in japan complained it was too graphic and needed to be toned down they didn't listen thusly color and animation were umm *cough* cut. http://amazon.imdb.com/title/tt0112159/trivia go there for sauce

The fact it's an exact clip from the movie is what makes it funny. If he just had Barbossa holding a script with a hole in it, then he might as well just use any character holding a script with a hole in it, and then he just might as well just say it had plot holes, and all in all remove any kind of wittiness from the ytmnd. And there are loads of ytmnds that are funny because of their title. If a ytmnd is funny, does it matter what part of it makes it funny?
