the difference there being that 1) Bush wouldn't have apologized and 2) the Special Olympics committee probably wouldn't have accepted his apology as unequivocally. anyway, Republicrats, Democrans, and the Media are all beholden to the marketplace, and government is the shadow cast on society by big business.

On the other hand, the market finally rallied this week, four days up in a row. After all, there -is- a bottom to all this, it's a matter of how long the final echos of the past years of economic f*ck-up take to fade. Little late for two of my friends and my girlfriend, mind you. Laid off.

Lets see here, we got a music stand which tells me they're all from some sort of band camp, got a dork in a bean bag chair bought from the local salvation army store, the Verizon wireless guy is back there watching the dork on the bean bag chair playing "A boy and his Blob" for the NES just off to the side, and Strong Sad's long lost twin sister eating a turducken pizza telling that other guy about her last Christmas present, to which she is currently eating, washing it down with a tall glass of Suudsu.

Zuckerberg isn't actually in charge of squat. Do you really think they'd let a kid be in charge of something so valuable? I think this mix up is what happens when Zuckerberg tries to do something on his own without consulting with his legal staff. I'm sure he's incredibly smart for his age, but there's no way he knows all the identity and privacy laws. The only reason they say he's CEO is to make the company more appealing to investors. NEDM

...which is what anyone who lends money with half a brain would do. "Banks should have had a certain amount of liquidity so they don't risk taking down the entire industry if the risks don't pay off" They had PLENTY of liquidity. For years. Especially recently. In fact, it has been argued that they had TOO MUCH liquidity, which made it easier to make all kinds of bad loans.
"No one stepped in and controlled the situation" There were actually numerous government controls of all kinds. Do your homework

There just aren't enough new voting users. The "overrated sites" used to fall off up and coming in a single day, max. Now they sit there, right below the 350 vote threshold, until half a week goes by. You can't avoid 4.6 rated sites, they will come no matter how much you complain. The rating itself doesn't matter, its all subjective anyway. The problem with having high rated sites on up and coming for a long time is that they deprive lower rated sites from getting views. Exposure is what's important.

When I say khan, I mean any and all the FPA material that you may have used. Ratings aren't everything but there is still some correlation between scores and the generally accepted quality of a site. What it comes down to is that I have never see anyone outside of your close FPA buddies compliment you or your sites. You downvote more sites than I care to name, but you complain when others do it. Of course, they all have to be trolls. There couldn't possibly be that many people who don't like your sites...

Max, joking asides, the worthwhile sections needs to be tweaked. All it does is focus on sites from 2005 with ratings around 3.7 to 3.9 with as few as five votes. Most of those sites are not good even 2005 good. If you could just fix it so sites on there are rated higher than 4.0 with a better rotation of sites and years created, it would then be worthwhile.

max - as far as the t-shirts go, how are we going to do this so that ytmnd gets the bulk of the money? I mean cafepress and other sites make it very easy to design the shirts but once they are on there they get most of the profit.
I would have no problem getting a team of people together to design shirts based around ytmnd and all that but the transfer of funds is where I get lost. Any thoughts?

Okay, first of all, sure, Thanes were gimp but there is no possible way (even after their nerf) that a thane should lose to a wizard. Secondly, the poor guy obviously is new to the game so I'm not sure why you would even bother making this unless he talked trash alot, which it doesn't appear that he does. If I were a complete loser/moron/dick like you, I'd make a ytmnd called "billfillmaff fails at ytmnd"

You've hit on everyone of the main points of why America sucks to those who disagree with it. Thats great and all but you're forgetting that building nukes eventually led the Soviet Union into a situation where there economy collapsed and they lost. You also forget that we did not send our tropps into Vietnam with the means to win a war, just prevent an invasion. No force wins a defensive war. You also forget that Al Queda is not an entity that just existed with Bin Ladin.

A good explanation although it leaves out that 80% of those in Gaza have been relocated there. It also leaves out that the Gaza strip is surrounded by a steel and concrete wall with watch towers. It also leaves out that Israel controls the gaza strip via sanctions. Water, electricty, Medical Aid, Education, Economy. All are under the control of Israel. It's the biggest prison colony on the planet.

I don't auto 5 or auto 1 anything, I always watch it before I vote. I just happen to like noise sites, is there a problem with that? I recently 4'd one of fearcondom's sites, even though when I first clicked on it I was planning to 1 it, but seeing it through to the end, it made me laugh, so I gave it a 4. I watch sites and vote based on the individual site, and all I ask is that other people do the same

Ok, It's been a very long time. For those who are still watch this,
I'm giving away some really good hints to find the secret (yes, IT IS REALLY THERE, trust me)
Big Hint 1: It's all in the audio file, so ignore the image.
Hint 2: save.
Hint 3: properties
Hint 4: this will require a little conversion, but the message is clear enough to copy and paste to convert.
PM me if you just want exact instructions, I will give them out. :-)

John Ging, chief of the UNRWA, UN agency for Palestinian refugees and eye witness, clearly spoke of white phosphorous bombs. In the Tal el Hawa neighbourhood in Gaza city, a whole wing of Al Quds hospital is presently in flames, and Leila, an ISM colleague is also trapped inside it along with forty doctors and nurses, and one hundred patients. She describes these last dramatic hours to us via phone. A tank stands in front of the hospital. There are snipers everywhere, ready to shoot at anything that moves. All around is destruction. At night, from their windows, they could observe a building going on fire after having been struck by a bomb. They heard the cries of whole families with children, imploring help. They were impotent to help as they watched the bodies devoured by the flames, running into the street and then be reduced to ashes

Israel isn't news. There's nothing new about what is happening there. It's just the same old routine that has existed for as long as I can remember. Israel should try doing the opposite for once. Like when George Costanza ignored all his natural instincts. That would be news.
