One question though: Why is there a dramatic change all of a sudden? Some of the users just added should have been there a long time ago (like hanktherapper, mattdh12, AwesomeBob) and some should have been removed a while ago (like RySenkari and DonaldMcRonald), but it seems to me the algorithms for featured user status are now all screwed up. Why is someone qualified, like dmaz, who has several sites with a lot of views, votes, and high ratings, removed from the list to let someone like FF0080, (continued)

The long buildup was perfect. This site is awesome because there is no trace of that fad. The moon man one you did could have been better if moon man wasn't in it at all.

Remember when it meant something get a rating higher than a 4.5? Now it happens all the time. Max, I know you're busy with the Flash thing, but I think the you need to change the settings for the U&C when you're done. The U&C is stagnant with the same 5 sites ruling it every 5 days, not to mention they are ruling the weekly top rated. I think it's time to drop the time a site stays on the U&C to 72 hours. I don't know the exact time it is set now, but the Ray Charles site has been on there for five days.

I dunno. I say this w/o knowing exactly what the algorithm is, but I think all that will change is, rather than having the same sh*tty featured users over and over, now there'll be a rotating cavalcade of sh*tty featured users. The fleeting nature of the list might make people even more prone to spamming crap: A guy could fall *ss backwards into two or three highly rated sites in a row and next thing you know it's "OMG I'M FETURD NOW BUT ONLY 4 A MOTH I BETTR MAKE TEH MOST OF IT NJOY THEZ 20 MOONMAN SITEZ"

I mostly like funny ytmnd's so the more artsy ones bore me. though a one may be too drastic I didn't see much of anything innovative other than the focus effect. I used to rate these sorts of ytmnds higher because they took a decent amount of skill but now I just reflect my own boredom with them; after all the rating system is there to show you how much people like your site; someone always doesn't, you can't appeal to everyone.

His edits? HIS EDITS? This EXACT thing, I mean EXACT, has been floating around the net for months. Months! It's been brought up on just about every forum, including SomethingAwful, months ago which is where I first caught wind of it. All he has done is set it to music and then he ripped the answer key from images off the site and set that to music / animated it. I am not a person to get upset about "stolen content", esp. if it's done better than the original, but there is NOTHING new here. Nothing.
