Everyone, what matters IS NOT that the movie sucks. Nor that you already knew it, etc. Its that "The Church" is trying to surpress this. They are once against abusing our legal system to try to shut up their critics. This is a MILESTONE, the first ever film critical of Scientology to ever be released! As i've said before, it may suck, but its the only rallying point we have. I don't care if Scientology was trying to surpress Mein Kampf, I would still distribute it for free to fight them. The content of the supressed content doesn't matter, all that matters is that someone is trying to surpress freedom, specifically freedom to question and of speech. If you don't like the rallying point, make a new better film, and get IT surpressed by Scientology.

I've been there . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . and have come back to tell about it. It is a place full of Scientology, nuclear weapons, and mean people that I wish I could just 1 and be done with it. YTMND makes a better world, for we can lol at whatever we want here, whereas in that other place loling is restricted to what is "acceptable" by that world's terms. There is no NEDM, and Ronald only exists at McDonalds, he does not roll by in a car.

I don't think its artistic merits has any real basis on if we should help to support its distribution or not. What are we going to do, do nothing to every film and film maker they attack? Only intervene if the film is up to our arbitrary artistic sensibilities? "UH OH! THIS ONE ISN'T CITIZEN KANE EITHER! BETTER LET SCIENTOLOGY SURPRESS IT AS WELL!" It doesn't matter if its 2 hours of the Director filming a floating turd in his dirty toliet. All that matters is that Scientology is trying to surpress it.

I'm not a fan of scientology but the movie was a waste of my time. It was slow-moving, oblique, and never actually functioned as the searing indictment of scientology it should have been. If I'm going to take time out of my life to spread this movie far and wide, as you suggest we do, the movie should be a LOT better and have more teeth.
