I watched the film. Wasn't pro stuff, but still very communicative. Kinda refreshing. Nice combination of known scientology info and scenarios. It is unfortunate that people aren't looking at Scientology as an example of the exploitive and predatory behaviorr that dominates our era rather than just "the badguy of the week".

To all, you can also spread the Scientology "Orientation" video around as well. That is straight from the cult's mouth and showcases some of the nuttiness well. "You can choose to leave the theater and never mention Scientology again, it would be stupid but you can do it. You can also dive off a bridge or blow your brains out"

"The Unfunny Truth" is a much more effective tool, but this movie could've been a very effective doc. Those orientation videos, and that video at the beginning - are those real? I got really excited and interested, watching that opening clip, but then the rest of the movie just focused on the black-and-white meanderings of the characters and focused on stuff most people already know about Scientology. It just didn't do it for me, really.

I'm upset that this movie is being censored by Scientology - that really just isn't right - but the movie didn't really blow me away. The characters and the plot were, sadly, somewhat predictable. "OMG... it's a BROOM CLOSET!!" eh. And the main character seemed totally naive and deeply disturbed about the Xenu info, which is understandable since she isn't OT3, but wouldn't she know SOMETHING about it? The movie's message I agree with, but at the same time it was presented in such a black-and-white way.

It's a very poorly made crappy boring movie (not a DOCUMENTARY, which is WHAT IS NEEDED), which will only get people BORED and CONFUSED rather than understand the evils of the scientology organization.

I just saw "the bridge" and I want my hour and 9 minutes back... its not compelling at all and I have no idea why scientology went after this (unless it IS close to accurate). Its not a documentary like I hoped it would be, but it really is just a movie... a very poorly made movie (yes I know, its indie). If you are curious, go for it.

Current records show that the membership is indeed shrinking, so the cult is compensating by usage of front groups.... Like narconon, criminon, WISE and several art school/tech school techniques. People are sometimes joing the cult not even being aware it is Scientology until it is too late. (because they hide their affiliation/lie to "raw meat" as they call them)

After just experiencing the most boring hour of my life.. I think it would be more effective if we infiltrated the church of scientology. Drop down a few hundred bucks, get in, work our way into the ranks... then f*ckin leak every bad and unpleasant event to happen in that sh*thole out to the media. But I have a life (half of it is spent n ymtnd...) and I dont have any money so someone else is gonna have to do it.

Andriy - The "Disconnection policy" and lying shown in the video doesn't effect people? Sure this isn't the hard hitting stuff but it still shows some of the low level crap they do. Like lying to the father about the daughter/disconnect/etc. And the Clear ceremony in which they are not really given what they supposedly "earn" for their rank. Plus is shows that there is net-nanny software that is installed on Scientology machines that prevents them from looking outside for information.
