and for those who don't know, the "dagger scene" is from Macbeth. SPOILERS FOR THOSE WHO DON'T KNOW: Macbeth kills Duncan, Macbeth hires murderers to kill Banquo, Banquo's son Fleance, and Lady Macduff and her son. Fleance escapes from the murderers. The point of a "subliminal message" is to fool the brain into doing something it doesn't understand or doesn't want to do or it gives the person a heightened awareness of something awry.
