they film in iceland because Magnus Scheving the creator and one of the main characters from the show (Sportacus) is from there. Stefan Karl (Robbie Rotten) is also from iceland. if you ever watched the show you'd notice they both have funny accents. it started out as a play over there, and it became a big franchise which did really well. so they made an english version and brought it here... and there's more than you ever wanted to know about LazyTown.

Wow, looks like I have a big fan club now. I was stupid enough to scan this to show my friends and one of them uploaded it to consumptionjunction.com and it blew up from there. After Viacom took complete controll from the Mtv executives they scraped many good nick shows, mostly the snick lineup.
