I like what feature users TRIED to do. It just didn't work out because YTMND is a caustic group. If people WERE given votes on featured users then the entire list would be full of people who got alt-voted on and would just use it to troll YTMND constantly (which they already do). And if you tried to limit the alt votes by giving them a join date limit or something, people would bitch about how THAT isn't democracy and how unfair it is. A group is its own worst enemy =P

1. Clean up audio to remove laughter. 2. Pick an Obama head that looks more heroic. 3. Do a cleaner head swap. 4. Have an animated rippling flag background for extra credit. but then the sites won't get the 350 votes usually needed to get off Up and Coming. Top Rated would probably then turn into what Top Viewed has become, and then pretty much decrease the overall activity on the site. Remember when the vote limit for UaC was 500? Sites seemed to stay on the section then as long as they do now. I guess we lost some users since then or something. If we got some more users to join the site then it would probably fix it and get sites off UaC sooner. ...

And one of the reasons it is abused now is that a lot of people are manual additions and don't get removed quickly enough when they start pouring garbage onto the front page. I really do want to make something that would allow everyone to recommend featured content for the front page, I just don't know how it should work. I miss the high-rated-but-not-necessarily-new content box.

I looked online to find out what the hell game this is from, it's a game called Doki Doki Majo Shinpan for the Nintendo DS (Japan only apparently). The point of the game is to find out which of the girls is a witch, and in order to do so you have to "grope" them with the DS Stylus, which explains why there's bouncy boobie sprites available. Kinda odd that something of this nature would make it onto a Nintendo handheld, Japan or not. Apparently there's no sex though, just foreplay lol

Max, you may not be proud of YTMND, and you may feel unappreciated, but sir, you are AWESOME and you need to know it. Even if YTMND isn't doing what you want it to do, it's still doing what IT wants to do, which is a sign of something major: it's alive. it has a soul. it has an emergent identity and that is something precious and amazing even if it's not the precious amazing thing you were hoping for. And seriously if I ever saw you on the street, I would shake your hand and definitely buy you lunch.

I don't know if I mentioned this to you, but I love this song. This pre-dates NIN's Ghosts by how long, and sounds like something Reznor would do. I can listen to this track on loop for days, and often do while studying.
