For you, YTMND is "the internets?"
There are other websites besides YTMND.com and all it's subdomains. There's this one website where you can read current events, and there's another one where you can watch videos "streaming." AND, they're not animated gifs. Some are even "HD."

But it's okay for the sociopathic downvoter guild to run wild. The voting system has been stacked in favor of the 1 star downvoter for years now. Takes just two to seriously skew the votes of 5 people. All you need is a few of them who stalk you and are perpetual downvoters and you are powerless against them. Most of us old timers know damn well who they are too. There's a reason now the spy takes 5 minutes to scroll where it use to take just seconds. There's a reason now the up and coming takes a long time to refresh with new sites. Many really good site creators left because of it.

You're not gunna like the way it looks I guarantee it http://i.imgur.com/Edaz9.png

If you read what was in the chat, you wouldn't have seen any "shit" coming from me. All I did was post the link and asked why they wanted it. End of story. Relax. All I'm seeing here is you trying to start something again. I've been keeping it mellow in the spy, despite the actions of a few users (you know who they are) who I normally share a laugh with in other instances. And no, back when I used to do the shit you mentioned, it wasn't simply because you downvoted my sites, it was more due to the fact that you were calling a bunch of us queers, cancer, and whatever else that whole year behind the comfort of an anonymous screen name. Yes, I shouldn't have added fuel to the fire that ssj4vegeta started, and I know there's no way to change the past. But fuck, by constantly bringing it up over and over again, do you expect me to not respond in some way? Besides, this site has absolutely nothing to do with any personal shit so why try to bring that up again? I'M SORRY, OKAY?

Next on Fox and Friends: "PICS OR IT DIDN'T HAPPEN"

I don't want to be the Debbie Downer of the situation, but to me killing OBL looks like another tiny piece of an almost forgotten puzzle started so long ago. I was 14 when I saw the news of that terrible act and I was a stupid ignorant about everything. In 10 years I got informed and I also started to have an opinion, which is still quite immature, but at least I have something to think about. I believe terrorists are driven by interests, so it seems plausible and logically easy to neutralize them, not because of what they aspire to but because of the way they want to achieve their goal. But terrorism... terrorism is a concept. How do you make a war on terrorism? It's like making a war on love! How do you make a war on something that you can barely describe? Of course it's easy to describe it as an act. But terrorism goes beyond the act, for some it's a way of life, a philosophy, that's what scares me the most. I think there should be something more than killing terrorists, they can be replaced in no time. The problem is, I still don't know what is missing. Maybe there's nothing missing and this game of capturing/killing is the only solution to the problem. Maybe the problem is not even what we commonly think it is. Maybe, but that's a little far-fetched, there's no problem at all.

Your rebuttal is unnecessary, as this is pretty much the point I was making. I do think, however, that there is a certain lower threshold at which poor quality intrudes on the humor of a site. Hello guys, I'm Will Riker of the Starship Enterprise. You may also know me as Number One, as my Captain and friend Jean Luc likes to call me in our missions. I made this new account because some people were a little harsh on me last time, I think they were all Romulans. I HATE Romulans! Anyways, so, I'm so glad I made this account because it reflects my personality. It says "Riker", which is my last name, and "1" because I'm Number One, not just on duty if you know what I mean (:. I remember this one time when I was off duty on Risa... gosh, what a "remarkable experience", as my friend and Commander Data would say, damn what a smart guy! Anyways, I was on Risa, and this hot chick came into my view and I was like "what the hell are you doing! I'm trying to watch the frigging ducks!" and then I saw her eyes. Gosh, I'm telling you, she was the spitting image of Belinda Carlisle! Apart from the forehead, it looked like a baboon's butt. So I came close to her and I was saying the usual things like "the stars can't match all the beauty in your eyes" and she was all like "oh really?", and then I was like "wait till you see my horga'hn" and she was laughing all the time... Gosh, what a laugh! You know how I act so I asked her if she would follow me to my room. When she came she was already laughing, but I was a little tired of all that, I wanted to get into action, you know. So I chased her but she was running away and hiding and laughing. And then I found her, but she took my communicator and threw it away, and I was like "oh no you didn't do that". I was pulsating down there I couldn't hold it anymore so I jumped into bed and I knew it was time, but then she took out this thing. She said it was just a game. And gosh, what a game! There is a hotly contested middle ground for what is considered reusing memes and what is considered ripping off. One user will have a different take than another. I personally think that they can be one in the same. Interruption fads like Lando and Mangione aren't considered ripping off when they're used, even though they are all exactly the same picture, just with a different frame, so to speak. Technically, though, they are ripping off the first site that spawned the fad. You could even argue that the later interruption fads are ripping off of the earlier ones, but they're still considered fads. Basically, my answer to your question is that there is no bonafide answer.

As for when it will be safe to post YTMND's in poor taste, well....I think poor taste is a characteristic that YTMND itself has acquired over the years, especially after Moon Man. If you're gonna post something in bad taste, well, this is the place to post it.

like gr33n, i get a kick out of this place. we all like to take the surface level stance of "this place is a waste of time, therefore anyone who wastes time here is a loser and a nerd." and that may be true for the most part, but there is a worthwhile degree of satisfaction and thunderous facepalming to be had from witnessing (and being a part of) the ever lowering bar. gr33nscr33n is an instigator. most of you are sincere with your emotional reactions.
