i dont care how many views it gets, if that Telemarketer site ever goes Hall of Fame, that would pretty much mark the end of YTMND.

I don't think Max would ever put in into the HOF. At least it is bringing in new people to YTMND. I really don't have a problem with it, except for it taking up that spot in the Most Viewd List everyday. As long as it doesn't get voted up into Top Rated then it is no big deal.

It took me 2 minutes to understand ytmnd back in early 2005. The first site I saw was NSMB, followed by "Safety is not Gauranteed", then fyrestorm's Katrina saga (best sites ever). After a month I was well versed in the fads, and what to do and what not to do. There you go Kanerobot, there's my memories.

my memory: In early December of 2005, my good friend sent me the first ytmnds I'd ever seen. They were harrypotterwtf.ytmnsfw.com and harrypervert.ytmnd.com. I really started to get hooked to the site in January and February of this year and finally became a member in March. The Harry Potter ytmnds are what got me started and then I found some Tetris ytmnds, and then I kept expanding my searches and look at me now, over 60 sites and almost 6,000 votes!

never in the history of ever on ytmnd have i ever had to 1 so many sites in 1 hour . they are all horrible and either a pic of a dead corpes, stolen and like 6 years old thats been posted 1231293 times already, or the video of the cat gettin lit on fire. i wish we could exterminate these people.

Hey max, ever planning on fixing the Worthwhile list? Because right now it's not so worthwhile.

i remember one time, i chanced across a YTMND on the recentlycreated. the site featured a mediaclip that could be found anywhere on the web, like many YTMNDs, so i downvoted it, as i do many YTMNDs. i presumed that was the last i'd heard of that site, and i'd never have to worry about seeing it ever again. AND I NEVER DID.

korf, I know that. But those guys used to get banned, and there's a greater concentration of them now than ever. I've been coming here for quite a while. and I know for a fact that the recently created wasn't always populated with such crap. Hell, it wasn't like that 6 months ago. It's the last two months that have been really bad. And they need to do something.

I also agree there are more retards/losers on YTMND than ever before, and I still miss the old site layout

^ any skilled craft can be applied to fads. someone could knit an NEDM sweater, bake a 6foot pretty cake, trick out a Cosby lowrider, or program a YTMND fork bomb. just because 99% of users couldn't do it doesn't mean (a) it won't be repeated, or more importantly (b) that it was ever clever to begin with.

I think Zidane was not really that bad... yeah, it was overdone, but some people really put skill into it and made some REALLY over the top things. And I'm only talking about the ones that were hardcore edited... 90% of them sucked. United States of Whatever is up there with the worst, and maybe like 1 poland site has made me laugh and enjoy the ear rape... EVER.
