They don't understand that atheism is a belief. They canno't prove the unexistance of God. Anyways, you have brought a lot of good with this thing, believe me. Your answer to potential objections in the afterword, ironically, is much less sound. You say that since time did not exist before the universe, the first cause didn't have to "begin" because beginnings are impossible outside of time. Sorry, but that makes no sense. Also, even if it did, it would still not exclude the possibility that some other universe or reality with its own time created this universe. Sir, your argument, in this case, has been OMGWTFPWND.

Just a heads up. This argument, the Kalam cosmological First Cause, has been argued to death. In fact, it ultimately started with Aristotle and has been regurgitated ever since in many different variants. It continues to be discussed to this day. The point is, you're more than welcome to make these ytmnds (just don't call it "art" please) but try not to get excited and feel as if you're contributing to the field of Metaphysics. This particular argument for God's existence (whatever "God" means in that context) gets me personally sick to my stomach, as a student of Philosophy, and your 5 second explanation of Causation didn't help. I'm upvoting because Muslims actually say that Muhammad's face cannot be drawn and in their own paintings they make his face shine (as if it's a light bulb) but since they had no clue of other people's art and culture (and in their invations they just burned it all because they didn't give a damn) other cultures were able to paint him as they say his face. I was brought up in a muslim country and lived there for 17 years of my life, however my metaphyisical beliefs are purely scientific and not categorizable. i am not an athiest, but i did appreciate this ytmnd more than that other one you are countering, that other one was boring and i didn't feel like reading a bunch of crap about some old athiests dying. in fact i didn't. i stopped watching it 2 minutes into the 7 minutes it said it was. just because the picture shows a pale blue dot, it does not make me belive in God any less. in fact it reminds me of how it is beyond anything i will ever understand.

What exactly is funny about this? Does the sudden introduction of Willy Wonka characters into a particuarly deep and philosophical movie scene create some sort of funny? Unfortunately, it does not. I'm also gonna say that, to me at least, it makes no sense if a Christian God, who is supposed to be perfectly loving and perfectly just, automatically condems people to Hell if they didn't accept Chrstianity in this life, regardless of how good they were anyways.
