It's not all bad. Sure, the consistency in quality just isn't where it used be, but there are still gems out there. There has always been a sea of crappy sites in proportion to good ones, the only difference is that ytmnd's user base has increased exponentially. The old system just doesn't work anymore because it was designed for a smaller audience. Now treasure hunting is even harder than it was before. The only thing that really concerns me is that there is so much less traffic in Up and Coming.

you took a picture of a character named "count cocofang" and added some popular music. you then submitted under a site called "count cocofang" which was appropriate because that encompasses the entirety of your site in two words. in fact, you might as well just have submitted a blank site called "count cocofang" because it would have been to similar effect. there is no punchline or even attempt at joke. how do you feel about all this?

yea gonna have to side with MarkC on this one. i dont condone ytmndtube sites, but this site hasnt really done that. remember this before u get all judgemental. MOST YTMND IS BASED OFF OF "BORROWED" AUDIO, IMAGE, AND (UGH) VIDEO. always has been this way. just because there is a video with the same audio dosent mean its from youtube (who cares where it came from, really?). is this really worth getting all worked up about Btape? no.

Everyone copies real world weapons. Pistols, Rocket launchers, Sniper rifles, and the lot are all quite popular, which is why they are still being put into games. But as far as futuristic/fantasy/sci-fi weapons, there is truly no limit to what can be created. We are no longer limited by 2d sprites, physics, or 16mb system memory. Oh sorry, that's not entirely true. Mind does not necessarily constitute the organ that is the brain. Mind is argued to be something else entirely. It could be an abstract concept used to describe the firing of the neurons in our brain, or there could be a separate existence of mind entirely, if it is to be believed that there are more than physical matter in the universe. Foot doctor is probably the most retarded fad I've ever seen, and the lazy town sites have always made me worry about the members who enjoy it. However, I'd much rather watch either of those two fads than another view whoring no-effort WoW site. All that set aside, this site does not deserve any acclaim whatsoever. The audio is terrible. I don't like it- it has some humor but not enough to justify the long running time. it puts too much stock in the notion of fads, is the main thing. this seems to assume they're the end-all, be-all lifeblood of the site, which i'm not sure i agree with. There is not much irony or intelligence on display in this site, either. The fact that you built this entire thing around a single extensive soundclip but didn't directly address its worth intrigues but mainly perturbs me.

There is a reason Halo garners so much hatred. No one dislikes a game that really sucks with so much intensity. If it was universally excepted to be a sh*tty game, It wouldn't be as popular as it is today. I have also played many FPS shooters on the PC including Half-life 1 + 2, Fear,Stalker, UT2004, UT99, etc. And I still think the original Halo is one of the greatest games of all time.

You didn't make the image, and it's not your sound. You just put them together. You're a publisher. And, since the internet is free to all, you are completely worthless. "Good original creative ytmnds usually get high ratings." Good is inherently subjective, as for the latter parts I would say that past history would point to a resounding "no" on those points.
