"Sitsu, this site says there is no god. It doesn't mention Jesus." - your point? first off the context of the actual Carlin bit is in relation to man made religion. secondly I hear christians talk about God all the time without mentioning Jesus in the same breath, it doesnt mean they're not talking about the Christian God. special pleading.

You talk about the direction of ytmnd like we're all in lockstep. I think there's as much a place for sites like this as there is for Poland sites or anything else. But if nobody pushes the boundaries, if nobody feels free to try new things, ytmnd will stagnate. You of all people should understand that, seeing as there was a small army of people who claimed that the preloader was against the spirit of ytmnd at the time it was implemented.

lol I am SOOO excited that soon I can pay 100+ dollars for my wii to call me fat (wii fitness). Also, everyone knows that sony press release was much more impressive then the others (not fan boyish opinion. Pretty much all game journalists agreed if you watched their interviews). I admit the wii gun thing may work out well but seriously, there is no denying now that kill zone 2 kicks *ss and MGS4 looks epic. Anyway, pretty funny but you sort of broke the formula for a one weakness site so 3.

Exposure to sunlight may increase the risk of many types of skin cancers. The FDA has the most stringent drug testing standards in the world. In fact, most people argue that the extensive testing saves too many lives due to side effects at the cost of saving lives due to less certain but reasonably well tested products. But, rather than actually figuring out what the actual risks are that they're telling you about, you simply repeated them as if it were automatic cancer. There is no cure-all. Deal with it.

I AM NONE OF THE ABOVE! +5 for getting the message out. A Furry is no more than an Anthromorphic creature (both human and animal). Yes, there are some furry perverts out there, but there is no need to stereotype us all as one (F*ck, I'm repeating the whole goddamned YTMND). Overall - WE ARE NOT WHAT YOU STEREOTYPE US AS

I think what Xalisae is trying to say is that all art is useless except for photography, and the only criterion to judge photography on is the megapixel count. Because nothing can be more realistic than capturing as many of the exact images that exist in a real field of vision as clearly as possible. Nothing could be greater, and nothing more needs to be added but what is realistically there, regardless of what the image is of or about (as if an image can be ABOUT anything, right?)

Yeah. The problem with this show is that it actually creates the crime when there is no guarantee that it would actually ever happen or have been committed. Secondly, most kids who get preyed upon get done so by people they know and not met online. You know... Relatives, scout masters, priests, neighbors, and even abusive sick parents/step parents.
This show doesn't do anything to solve the core problem nor protect those kids.
All it does it keep the American public scared of boogiemen.

Irony is a literary or rhetorical device, in which there is a gap or incongruity between what a speaker or a writer says and what is generally understood (either at the time, or in the later context of history). Irony may also arise from a discordance between acts and results, especially if it is striking, and seen by an outside audience. Irony is understood as an aesthetic evaluation by an audience, which relies on a sharp discordance between the real and the ideal, and which is variously applied to texts, speech, events, acts, and even fashion. All the different senses of irony revolve around the perceived notion of an incongruity, or a gap, between an understanding of reality, or expectation of a reality, and what actually happens.

remember the ebaum thing? if i remember correctly, they stole a lindsay lohan montage and watermarked it. now, if you go to myspace, there is something at the end of the video, which i believe is somewhat like a watermark. i didnt actually pay attention to it, i just saw it. -- i do not intend to "Make a tongue-in-cheek-jab at the feuds ytmnd has had", and i do not intend to "stir up something with my 1337 troublemaking skills". all i am saying is that the d*ckhead shouldve credited the author of the YTMND.

if you weren't inside on ytmnd all day you might notice that there are such things as yeti's. the reason there is no "Documented proof" is because they are so popular. if there's a creature that you should not beleive in it's dogs. Go outside and make sure you bring a weapon, the yeti's are overpopulated this year.

Everyone copies real world weapons. Pistols, Rocket launchers, Sniper rifles, and the lot are all quite popular, which is why they are still being put into games. But as far as futuristic/fantasy/sci-fi weapons, there is truly no limit to what can be created. We are no longer limited by 2d sprites, physics, or 16mb system memory. I bet everyone who surfs YTMND could come up with 10 weapons each and they wouldn't be similar. Cry all you want guys, but the truth remains. Developer laziness isn't our friend

It would take me too long to make the larger point, so I'll state it without proof: There is NO candidate in this election who is a panacea for our country's ills. There's no silver bullet, no magic cure for our tax system or our budget. Each system has its flaws (and boy, does the income tax system ever have its flaws). We will ALL have to think a little harder about the arugements the candidates are making and cut through the bullsh*t in order to find the right, best candidate

Usually I take all of the apocalyptic theories at face value because there is always a major one every 10 years. I never understood the fear of them. Most of the scenarios you showed would be on too grand a scale for us to comprehend. If you want to read something that will really blow your mind, read up on "The Big Crunch/Bounce/Rip" Or "Big Freeze/Heat Death". To sum it all up, even if we do manage to colonize different planets, eventually the known Universe will be unable to sustain life everywhere.
