From what ive heard in these rumors about Mr. Bauman, they deserve the humiliation, but those people who vandlize property from Eric and the website, even making death threats!? This site really HAS gone too far with this sh*t. I would have gone for YTMND's side of this issue, but now i get the feeling you guys started it in the first place. I am not saying, nor will i ever say, i stand in favor of Eric Bauman because what he did was very "f*ggish". Right now, after what this site has done to them, they "were the depressed kids in a middle school and we 'pulled their trigger' and we are getting shot at" If you hadnt noticed i made refrence to Columbine. I may look like an idiot right now, but i am dead serious about this issue. In the past, i was rooting for YTMND. Now, im just an iinnocent bystander watching every move the two sides make. :) -Elk

Something tells me he'll put it back up because there'll be, like, six sites Max missed. But, to prove we're above him, it's what we should do (to the best of our ability). Even if it IS the highest-rated site I ever had... :(

Yes I have been experiencing extra lag and page not foundness from ytmnd, happy to hear it's not my intarwebs fault but sad that ytmnd got slowed for a bit =( I really can't imagine Neil Bauman ever trying to restrain the illegal DDoS on his side of the fence, and so for that Max we give you credit, huzzah. We know we are the better site.

LAWL, i never said i was elitist i dont even tend to be, its just the quote should be common knowledge, i mean, you visit the damn site, atleast go look at the very first one ever made, and i only gave u sh*t for batman because i f*ckin hate that ytmnd for beatin out http://picard.ytmnd.com/ in views when the hall of fame wasnt there before. i have said nothing about anything being mainstream BESIDE jeopardy, which in the us, is VERY mainstream, unlike ytmnd.com

Raise your hand if you've ever downloaded music or videos with a p2p program. I'm pretty sure most of you have; in case you didn't know you were breaking copyright laws. Now go punish youselves for such heinous crime.

Everything sounds really good to me except for the site deletion stuff. Alot of times i like to look through sites that have hardly ever been viewed, and ive found some REALLY good ones that way :D I think sites should only get deleted if they have ALOT of downvotes or something, Just because a site isnt popular doesnt mean its not good :)

Weighted voting sounds good to me. It would pwn the pwner. :o I would also buy a shirt if you sold more. User levels based on how yours sites have done also sounds interesting. Just make them take past sites into consideration, because I doubt I'll ever have the #1 spot on the top 15 again lol.

By the way, user moderation doesn't work. My average SFW site has like... seven times the NSFW votes. Why? Because raged little kids aren't happy enough with one-starring. Also, for an immediate improvement to the site, ban everybody who's ever said "ban downvoters." If they don't understand the value of standards, f*ck 'em. They're just the "quantity over quality" crowd, and YOU KNOW IT. SEARCH YOUR FEELINGS.

the other problem (or is it a problem?) with all these users is that if a fad does start, theres enough people that someone can make something popular enough right away that it basically 'ends' the fad. you know... why bother when soandso did it as good as its going to get... as for the forums, so long as i've been on ytmnd i've never ever found them useful for anything other than having to scroll through several pages of bill cosby's head and pictures of the french chick from harry potter. was there ever a time the forums actually helped ytmnd?

no top users list... ever been to that RateMyBody site? ranking users will not only create bitterness, it will cause top rated people to probably whore themselves out for votes so they can keep their spot... "top users" - bad bad idea... if YTMND wants to create some users hall of fame or something, do it in wikipedia, not here.
