Just because I give a lot of fives umfuld doesn't mean I overrated everything. I rarely vote on sites I don't like, and there are a lot of them trust me. I will middle vote sites too, but if they aren't on up and coming, there really isn't a point because they are going to die soon anyway.

I think the biggest problem is the lack of voting users in general. If we had more frequent voters, the upvoting and downvoting issues would be balanced out. Still I like the idea of chosen or mandatory anonymity. As it is now, some sites RC might get a rating over 4 but only 10 votes, and die. I'm not concerned so much about the ratings but if a site is getting over 4 and it gets no attention, there is something wrong. I can't really blame most users though: the chances of finding a gem in RC is unlikely.

If we need more votes, we need more users, and this site died months ago. The amount of active users, view counts on most viewed etc. have dropped dramatically since I first joined in 2007. This site depends on the users, and if nobody is using it then it's gonna be boring and stale. We need more users contributing before we can solve the problem. Also, I think giving anonmity a trial wouldn't hurt, but is there any point in implementing such a system when most new content is complete and utter sh*t anyway?

Yeah, you're right Max should do nothing and let everyone think YTMND is for racist retards. IP banning works because even if they keep changing their IPs (assuming those idiots know how to do it) they eventually move on. Unless they are die hards like Joshcube, but even he comes back in spurts.

Your "constructive criticism" was nothing more than your opinion as well as bashing the work the designer did and telling me that the work I've just done to make the site Unicode-safe is futile. Further telling me that there is a lack of direction to the site when I've just launched a major new version with a great number of new features. <br /><br />I'm glad you've put hundreds of hours into YTMND, I've put a few in myself. If you are concerned about the direction of the site, or the intuitiveness of the interface, or that a feature is broken, why not actually be constructive and helpful instead of just summarizing the large amount of work myself and others have done as shit and threatening me that if I don't discard it, YTMND will die.
