I wouldn't terribly mind ads if they were more relevant to my interests and the interests of YTMND users in general. If I go to a music site like Pitchfork or Punknews, the ads are relevant and sometimes even useful, leading me to bands/sites/products I may even spend money on. Right now on YTMND all I see are lowest-common-denominator dating service ads and scam contest trash. If you could get some ads for things YTMND users find interesting (movies, video games, music, etc.) we'd all be happier.

...and Sony's blunders while the Rev.--Wii thing was going on (CD rootkits, the whole E3 enemy crab/$599/Riiiiiiiidge Raaaacer thing, etc.) made Sony seem bad. That's when Nintendo stepped up, offered the old games (it's disappointing me a bit, how few they're offering so far) and stuff like that, and suddenly people took the Wii as a much-needed alternative to the PS3 as voters took Democrats as an alternative to the GOP. also digg.com. (Me, I'll just play free PC shmups while y'all pay out the nose.)

some of the regulars keep on posting original content, or DRASTICALLY different takes on fads (See Syncan's take on the cake fad), YTMND will always have a place for me. It's just regrettable that I have to wade through reams of sh*t i've seen/heard time and time again to get to it.

Hey, it's that McDonalds game from NES. It wasn't *that* bad of a game, it was just a terrible concept and it badly ripped off Mario 3.
