Using its fins to walk, rather than swim, along the ocean floor in an undated picture, the pink handfish is one of nine newly named species described in a recent scientific review of the handfish family. Only four specimens of the elusive four-inch (ten-centimeter) pink handfish have ever been found, and all of those were collected from areas around the city of Hobart (map), on the Australian island of Tasmania. Though no one has spotted a living pink handfish since 1999, it's taken till now for scientists to formally identify it as a unique species. The new-species determinations were made based on a number of factors, including number of vertebrae and fin rays, coloration, the presence of scales and spines, and proportional body measurements, according to review author Daniel Gledhill of Australia's Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation, or CSIRO. All of the world's 14 known species of handfish are found only in shallow, coastal waters off southeastern Australia, the review notes. Even among the previously known species, the fish are poorly studied, the review authors add, and little is known about their biology or behavior.

I just saw this on engadget.com and came here to make this. Smokescreen is basically an HTML5 converter for simple Adobe Flash animations with sound. Most think that it's only useful for translating banner ads, but applying it to YTMND was the first thing that came to mind for me. Integrate it into the site or make an iPhone OS app, I don't care, just give me a way to view YTMND on my iDevice!

In addition to Jonny, it has had a cast of other entertaining characters such as lesbian comedian Julie Goldman, actress Brandy Howard, computer expert Martin Beauchamp ("Straighty/Straight Boy Martin"), and drag queen Linda James. One of the most enduring characters is drag queen ErickaToure Aviance, of the legendary House of Aviance. On September 11, 2001, the United States of America suffered the worst terrorist attack of its then 225-year history when the World Trade Center was destroyed when hijacked planes ran into the Twin Towers. Larry Silverstein, the owner of WTC7, told the NYC fire department to "pull it," or demolish WTC7, after it was reported to him that the FDNY could not contain the fire destroying WTC7. I know most of you will think I'm a crackpot, but I do believe that 9/11 was a false flag used to expand the wars for oil in the Middle East and Africa, and give Congress and the President an excuse to pass laws, like the Patriot Act, that rob us of our civil and Constitutional rights.
